After rereading my purpose statement and design plan, I believe that my photo essay does a good job of supporting the claim I made, which is that it’s important to learn to appreciate what we have before we focus on what we want. I think I chose good examples that relate to my audience and my peers. I think my narrative captures the essence of the point I wanted to make. I also think that my chooses of fonts and font size help to emphasize the important aspects of the photo essay, such as the words, “appreciate” and “want” being larger than the rest of the title in the beginning of the power point. That being said, I feel as if I could have presented the pictures in a way that was easier to understand. My intention was to have five pictures representing want and five pictures representing what people have. I think the captions help to decipher this, but I think the pictures should have been a little easier to understand. In conclusion, I think that I have some strong points to my overall project, but there are some aspects that I could improve upon. This assignment helped to open my mind in a more creative way then I was used to.
